Less time than I thought

My surgery has been moved up to March 5th. That's next week! Holy crap! I am not ready mentally but I guess there isn't much I can do about that. Still, the sooner I get "repaired" the better.

Surgery D-Day has been set to March 12th. Three more weeks to go.

Surgery on the horizon

Met with the surgeon again yesterday. He said that at this point surgery really is the only option. He indicated that it would be a fairly routine procedure and providing that there are no complications it should only take a couple of hours and I would be home the next day. The "complications" part has me somewhat worried but I feel that I am in good hands. I should know the exact date in a day or two.
